About

My name is Mackay Miller, this blog is an occasional site for me to consolidate my observations on the state of affairs.  I am currently an MBA candidate at the Leeds School of Business in Boulder, Colorado.  I grew up in Montana, and then spent 11 years on the east coast, first as an International Relations major at Brown University, and then as an public education strategist and sustainable real estate entrepreneur in Providence, RI.

I am interested in the potential leverage that emerging financial instruments and technologies can give to disruptive start-up companies, especially those that include public institutions in their client base.  For example, how might (inter)national municipal debt bond pools be used to bootstrap the creation of urban mesh networks?

I am always looking for a constructive debate, and welcome any comments.  Enjoy the site.
